SUBSTANCE: defining of colouring of plant seeds oil. The plants which oil of seeds has green or straw-coloured colouring refer to homogeneous, typical for breed, and a plant which oil of seeds has greenish-yellow, yellow or light yellow colouring - to heterogeneous, not selected. Thus colouring of the oil taken by cold pressing of seeds is estimated. For an estimation of oil colouring it is recommended to use colouring standards.

EFFECT: method gives high reliability of estimation and excludes an error of estimation because of seasonal dependence of the plant colouring.
