FIELD: organic matter processing.

SUBSTANCE: slicing machine contains frame and installed cutter block in the form of cylinder with symmetrical cutting blades on the external of the perimeter. (16, 18). The cutter blade contains at least two separate mechanisms (10, 10a) of blade extension. The blades are placed alternatively one after another below the perimeter external of the cutter block and have separate drive. Each mechanism (10, 10a) of blade extension is connected to the correspondent cutting blades (16, 18) and provided with electrical drive mechanism containing the electric motor (1, 1a). The motor rotation is operated by external signal which does not depend on the cylinder movement parameters of the cutter block. The signal transferred and operated by the electric motors (1, 1a) via electrical signal setting the necessary degree of corresponding blade extension. The motors (1, 1a) are situated axially symmetric on the both sides of main shaft.

EFFECT: precise and independent on the speed of cylinder rotation blade extension for cutting the tobacco, and also cleaning and sharpening blades after working cycle ending.
