FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: method includes measurement of emulsion volumetric rate and its watering, determination of oil mass flow and its gas factor, determination of water settling and oil settling sections lengths depending on the tube diameter, measurement of oil products and suspended solid particles concentration in output water. Time of emulsion breakup into oil and water, oil and water density are measured. For determination of tube separation unit parameters the model is used, which is manufactured with the possibility of changing the gauge (ratio of length to diameter) out of tube sections that are interconnected by flange joints.

EFFECT: experimental data collection is simplified and experiment time is reduced.
