FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: scope of invention covers fused moulded refractory material intended for the purpose where the mentioned material contacts with melted glass, particularly, for use in edge zones of glass-melting furnace at temperatures below 1150°C. The refractory material contains, % w/w: more than 85% ZrO2, 2-8 SiO2, 0.12-1 Na2O, 0.2-2 Al2O3, 0.5≤Y2O3+CaO≤2.6, provided Y2O3: 0.3-2% or CaO: 0.5-1.93%, where Na2O may be substituted, at least partially, with K2O, and Y2O3 and CaO may be present together or separately and where more than 85 % w/w of zirconium dioxide exists in monoclinic form. Production method of refractory material includes mixing of components, melting of the mixture obtained and casting in mold.
EFFECT: high anti-corrosive stability of refractory material without colouring the produced glass and reduction of bubbles formation in molten glass.
