FIELD: chemistry, organic, fuel.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied to cleaning of liquid fuels used in internal combustion engines from heavy and hardly inflammable impurities. Initial liquid fuel is fed from tank 1, by means of pump 2, through pipelines 21, 22, 23, to measuring tank 3. A dosed portion of water is fed from tank 4 to tank 3. Liquid fuel under treatment is circulated through pipelines 24, 22, 25, 26 and 27 via rotor-pulsation apparatus 5 and measuring tank 3. Treated liquid fuel is drained to settling tank 7 and then to tank 11. The settling tank is provided with a filtering device in the form of a fine screen that can be immersed in purified liquid fuel to the boundary between purified liquid fuel and released impurities or water. The invention makes it possible to improve qualitative indices of the principal product and to produce a secondary product for other purposes.
EFFECT: improvement of fuel quality by cleaning with production of a secondary product.
