FIELD: chemistry, petroleum industry.

SUBSTANCE: said utility invention relates to the oil and gas industry. It provides increase in the energy efficiency, simplification of the gas compression technology, and increase in efficiency of the reservoir pressure maintaining system. Character of invention: the method includes running of the production string in the hole and using it to inject gas requiring additional compression, mixed with liquid. According to this invention, the production string is run above the reservoir perforation holes. Gas mixed with liquid is injected so that they may be separated by the gravitation forces and a gas cap may be formed in the production string annulus, the liquid level being gradually pressed downwards. The gas compression pressure is set by the production string running depth, the contents of the gas mixed with liquid, and the liquid density. After that, the compressed gas is bled to the well head, and the liquid is injected into the reservoir for maintaining the reservoir pressure.

EFFECT: increase in energy efficiency, simplification of gas compression technology, and increase in efficiency of reservoir pressure maintaining system.
