FIELD: metallurgy, electric melting.
SUBSTANCE: the invention relates to the area of metallurgy, in particular, to a device for induction melting of nonferrous and ferrous metals, and also for glass melting. In the device, the electrical connection of a coaxial input lead with current feeding bars of the capacitor bank is performed through sliding contacts formed by conductive flat plates having the form of segments, which are electrically and mechanically connected with the inside and outside wires of the coaxial input lead using pressing contacts, and enter spring clamps connected with the feeding bars of the capacitor bank; the angular size of the segments of the flat plates of the sliding contacts provides, during rotation of the coaxial input lead about its axis, continuity of the connection between the coaxial input lead and the feeding bar of the capacitor bank. The invention allows to eliminate powerful dispersal fields of current feeding lines feeding power to the inductor, and to simplify the design.
EFFECT: simplification of design and increase in productivity.
