FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to analytical chemistry and can be used in quantitative chemical analysis for determining the calibration characteristic and for checking correctness of analysis results. The method of producing synthetic standard specimens of atmospheric aerosols loaded on a filter comprises preparation of methylcellulose film containing the elements to be determined in the form of finely dispersed powder, and punching individual specimens from the film. Acetone is added to a weight of finely dispersed powder containing the elements to be determined, the mixture is agitated during 30 s, then methylcellulose solution is added, the mixture is exposed to ultrasound during 15 s, methylcellulose solution is added again, and the mixture is exposed to ultrasound during 45 s. Then methylcellulose solution is added to provide the required volume, and the mixture is agitated during 5 min. The invention permits more accurate control of composition of atmospheric aerosols.
