FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in preparing dust samples taken from ambient air by quinoline extraction with heating and sonicating and further quantitative measuring the optical density of the resulting coal solution in the visible region of the absorption spectrum. Extraction of coal dust from an atmospheric air dust mixture is carried out by quinoline with heating up to 250-280°C and ultrasound processing with a frequency of 30-65 kHz for 10-15 minutes. Two phases are obtained: coal dust in a solution, inorganic dust - insoluble precipitate. The coal dust in the quinoline solution is determined spectrophotometrically at the analytical absorption wavelength of the coal solution of 622 nm, the coal content is determined from the previously constructed calibration characteristic, C = f(D), where C is the concentration of the substance to be determined (μg/ml); D is the optical density of the test solution. More than 95% of the solid organic material is converted into the solubilized organic soluble substance.
EFFECT: it is possible to solubilize solid organic materials to form one solubilized organic soluble substance.
