FIELD: physical and chemical analysis.
SUBSTANCE: shot of ultrafine ammonium perchlorate is treated in a crucible with sulphuric acid and 4-5 drops of perchloric acid and is then held on an electric hot plate until evolvement of vaporous and gaseous substances stops. After that, the crucible is placed into a muffle furnace, incinerated, and cooled, and the non-combustible residual matter weight is determined by weighing. Simultaneously, a shot of lecithine used for the production of ultrafine ammonium perchlorate is burned in a muffle furnace at the same temperatures and during the same time, and the non-combustible residual matter weight is determined. After that, the mass fraction of milling in the ultrafine ammonium perchlorate is determined using the formula.
EFFECT: development of method of determining reliable mass fraction of milling in ultrafine ammonium perchlorate.
