METHOD FOR PRODUCING METAL-OXIDE-CARBON COMPOSITE MATERIAL Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC B01J21/18 B01J23/72 B01J23/755 C01B32/324

Abstract RU 2808985 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing metal-oxide-carbon composite materials used as catalysts in organic synthesis reactions. To obtain the claimed composite material , wood residues are carbonized by heating them to a temperature of 700 to 800°C in an inert environment. Maintain at this temperature for 10-120 minutes. The resulting carbonate is cooled first in an inert environment, then to room temperature in an air atmosphere. The carbonizate is impregnated with a solution of metal nitrate in nitric acid to obtain a suspension. The specified suspension is activated by heating in the reactor to a temperature of 500-550°C and maintain it at this temperature until a composite material is obtained. Ground fallen needles up to 1 mm in size are used as wood residues, and a non-oxidizing atmosphere or an inert gas atmosphere is used as an inert medium when implementing the method. After holding at the final heating temperature for 10-120 minutes, the resulting carbonate is cooled to a temperature of 550°C in a non-oxidizing atmosphere or in an inert gas atmosphere. And when impregnating carbonizate, a solution of copper (II) nitrate, and/or nickel (II) nitrate, and/or cobalt (II) nitrate, and/or iron (III) nitrate in nitric acid is used as a solution of metal nitrate in nitric acid.

EFFECT: simplifying and speeding up the production of a metal-oxide-carbon composite material while maintaining a high product yield.
