FIELD: radiolocation; active phased antenna arrays.
SUBSTANCE: antenna transceiving system of a radar contains horizontally installed single-dimensional transceiving active phased antenna array consisting of a distribution system and transceiving modules. Each transceiving module contains circulator, limiter, low-noise amplifier, Rx/Tx switch, power amplifier, phase shifter, and two-dimensional reflector phased antenna array including radiator, two-dimensional dielectric radiator array connected to reflection ferrite phase shifters, which are connected to the phased antenna array beam control system. The input/output of the two-dimensional reflector phased antenna array is connected to the transceiving module circulator. The input/output of the two-dimensional reflector phased antenna array beam control system is connected to an external radar setup adjuster.
EFFECT: possibility of precision scanning in two planes and measurement of target elevation and azimuth, with simultaneous minimization of system hardware implementation cost due to decrease in number of active phased antenna array transceiving modules and simplification of heat sink system.
