FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: semi-active phased array (SAFA) includes distribution system, n transceiving modules, n radiating elements. Each transceiving module comprises receiving and transmitting channels, including accordingly receiving or transmitting tracks, combined at one side with a circulator joined to phase changer and at the other side - by transceiving switch. Receiving channel is formed by serially joined transceiving switch, low noise amplifier, attenuator, circulator, phase changer, and transmitting channel is formed by serially connected phase changer, circulator, transceiving switch. In each of n transceiving modules input in transmitting mode (output in receiving mode) is connected to according output (input) of distribution system of microwave capacity, and output in transmitting mode (input in receiving mode) is connected to radiating element. Semi-active phased array is active for reception and passive for transmission.

EFFECT: invention provides for wider opportunities to control shape of directivity pattern with simultaneous provision of low noise ratio.
