FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: a rough workpiece is imparted to a circular motion; a grind-rolling device is imparted to a longitudinal feed and circular motion. A grind-rolling device consists of working abrasive diamond-containing elements aimed to process the rough workpiece with tension, in the form of coils of coiled spring rolled up to a ring with the abrasive layer on the inner surface, and cylindrical spiral spring with deforming elements. Cylindrical spiral spring with deforming elements is installed by means of tensioning equipment and hinges with ability to rotate relative to its longitudinal axis. Cylindrical spiral spring with deforming elements and coiled spring rolled up to a ring cover the rough workpiece. Inner diameter of the coiled spring is less than the diameter of workpiece to be processed by a double-tension value in order to ensure a radial feed of spring coils. Using tensioning equipment, cylindrical spiral spring with deforming elements is adjusted for static load which provides a surface plastic deformation and ensures a forced rotation of the coiled spring rolled up to a ring.
EFFECT: expansion of process abilities; reduction of device cost price; simplification of device design.
