SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fritted glaze compositions intended for coating the wares made from porcelain and faience. The glaze contains SiO₂, Al₂O₃, B₂O₃, CaO, BaO, ZrO₂, Na₂O, K₂O and, additionally, ZnO и CeO₂, in the following ratio of components, percent by mass: Si0₂ - 44.0-47.0, Al₂0₃ - 5.0-7.0, B₂O₃ - 23.0-27.0, CaO - 3.0-5.0, BaO - 1.0-2.0, ZrO₂ - 5.0-7.0, Na₂O - 1.0-2.0, K₂O - 2.0-4.0, ZnO - 5.0-7.0, CeO₂ - 1.0-2.0.
