FIELD: metallurgy; equipment for heat treatment.
SUBSTANCE: said utility invention relates to the field of metallurgy. The vessel, in particular, converter, rests on the upper belt of the support ring by means of grips. The upper belt of the support ring has a support designed as split by additional mounting components. The support consists of vessel brackets and support ring brackets opposite to each other, which can be closed with each other to a positively closed position by moving the throw-over lock in the closing direction, and can easily be disconnected by moving the throw-over lock in the opposite direction. The use of this invention allows to simplify the converter removal and replacing process and to decrease the equipment downtime.
EFFECT: simplification of converter operation and decrease in equipment downtime.
