FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to apparatuses for supporting two arms of the user. The apparatus has two arm-supporting elements, at least one passive actuating member and at least one auxiliary support for the force subject to application. The arm-supporting elements are each made with one arm-bracing element for fit on the corresponding arm. The passive actuating member is made for applying a force to at least one of the arm-supporting elements. The auxiliary support has at least one auxiliary supporting element in form of a hip belt and at least two force transmitting elements made for transmitting the opposing force from the corresponding arm-supporting element to the auxiliary supporting element. The force transmitting elements are each located on an auxiliary supporting element and configured to at least rotate relative to the auxiliary supporting element around at least one rotation axis. The apparatus allows circumduction of the arm when worn.
EFFECT: possibility of replication of movements including those performed by movements of the torso, the spine or the shoulder girdle, is achieved thus increasing safety of the user during use of the apparatus.
