FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: underground transmitting modular active phased antenna array consists of a basic antenna module unit, a radio link forming unit, an exciter unit, an information signal switch, an automated active phased antenna array parameter control unit. The radio link forming unit consists of a high-frequency switch, a phase shifter, a corrector amplifier, and an attenuator. The basic antenna module unit consists of a broadband power amplifier, a power meter, and N pairs of orthogonal symmetric radiators excited in phase quadrature with equal amplitudes. The possibility of linear installation of the basic antenna modules, forming several radio links, and controlling their parameters when the radio communication conditions change, provides higher efficiency of the active phased antenna array and acceptable costs of its construction.

EFFECT: increase in efficiency and decrease of construction costs.
