FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: modular transmitting active phased antenna array consists of an automated parameter control unit, an information signal switch, consisting of N modules. Each module is in the form of a self-contained structure sunken into the earth, and includes a radio link forming unit, a driver, a deployable radiator and an actuating mechanism for raising and lowering the radiator. Each radiator in the initial state is placed in a tube which is insulated from the effect of a semiconducting medium. The deployment and roll-up of the radiators is carried out automatically based on signals from the automated parameter control unit. In the operating position, the radiators are pushed over the surface of the earth, thereby reducing heat losses in the semiconducting earth.
EFFECT: high efficiency owing to reduced losses in the semiconducting medium and high reliability of the structure of deployable radiators.
