FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: electric connecting device is designed for connection of multicore machine cable with other electric device and for power supply of more than 100 kilowatt or even more than 2 megawatt, and consists of casing, which has end surface with apertures and multiple isolating bushings, which pass around apertures, and multiple core-connecting facilities, every of which is at least partially installed in the corresponding bushing. Each core-connecting facility enters into contact interaction with corresponding core of machine cable and has the first contact surface for connection to terminal of other electric device. Device contains separated grounding facilities, which surround at least some of corresponding isolating bushings. Each grounding facility enters in contact interaction with corresponding grounding layer of machine cable and has the second contact surface for connection to grounding terminal of other electric device, so that in electric connecting device connecting cores of the facility are grounded from each other.

EFFECT: reduces chances of dangerous short circuits in case of core break-up in the casing.
