FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric connecting device for machine cable, which contains the first connector with the first contact and the second connector with the second contact, and these connectors are traveling between open position, in which the first and the second contact are separated from each other, and closed position, in which the first and second contacts are electrically connected. Device also contains drive for application of motive force for setting the first and the second connectors in motion against each other, and because of this force the first and the second connector are traveling between open and closed positions. The drive is made with the possibility of motive force distribution around at least one first connector, or around the second connector, which reduces or even excludes possibility of jamming, tilting or seizing between the connector surfaces that limit minimum mechanical gap for provision of narrow flame path.
EFFECT: improves reliability.
