FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electrical connector comprising a shuttle member for receiving a stripped multifilamentary cable, a shuttle member comprising a device for guiding the strands and a flexible clamping element for each of the bare strands being received. Body part is made with possibility of fixation of at least one shuttle element in sliding engagement and comprises unit of terminal connections, besides, each connection has shape contact for reception of appropriate clamping element of shuttle element. Each shape contact defines a clamping jaw configured to compress the corresponding clamping element when the shuttle member fully engages with the body part to thereby grip the stripped cores of the multicore cable. Electric connector is used in electric junction box for lighting circuits.
EFFECT: technical result is fast and safe electrical connector.
