FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: spark plug for internal combustion engine (ICE) consists of casing, insulator, sidewall electrode with slit-like saw cut on non-working surface of its end, and the cut passes through the diameter of through opening that is coaxial with central electrode, and is not more than 10% of sidewall electrode plate thickness. In the end of central electrode there are two slots (grooves) that cross in spark plug rotational axis in such a way that each of them in transverse cut of spark plug forms the crossing angle of 45 degrees with slit-like saw cut of sidewall electrode.

EFFECT: increases stability and reliability of ICE operation; simplifies its start-up; provides complete fuel combustion and reduces spark plug cost.
