SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protected documents, to the method of their fabrication and the paper base. The protected document, e.g. a currency note or a security, has a base with a thinner section making a transparent zone in the base. The said document has, also, a strengthening means to strengthen the said thinner section. Note here, that the said strengthening means contain, at least, one strip or a cover to protect the said thinner section.
EFFECT: higher protection of documents against forgery and higher life of the said documents.
