FIELD: textile; paper.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns methods of machine sewing of multiaxial fabric for paper-making machine. Multiaxial fabric takes form of closed loop folded in two layers along fold lines. Cross threads are removed from folds to create extensive loose areas. Threads passing in machine processing direction (MPT) are left unlinked in loose areas. Further, seam loops are made of unlinked threads at folds. Cross materials, such as continuous cross threads, are linked to fabric along the edges of loose area. Linked cross materials bind cross thread tails along the edges of loose areas.
EFFECT: prevention of thread migration to the seam area, improved seam quality.
