FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the sphere of construction and renovation of buildings, reservoirs, sedimentation reservoirs and other structures of basically round cross-section in terms of layout, such as cooling towers. The cooling tower reinforcement structure consists of slanting beams arranged in radial directions of the confusor, their upper ends attached to the structure bearing elements and via the backing block connecting strips resting on the base ring. There is a engirdling belt fixed onto the base ring with the external ends of the slanting beams attached immediately to it with the help of equally slanting bracing pieces (two per each beam).
EFFECT: ensuring the structure rigidity; minimisation of the structure elements cross sections; optimisation of transfer of force and torque to the supports; structure seismic resistance enhancement.
