SUBSTANCE: system comprising a warning radar for detection of approaching ballistic missile re-entry vehicles, a command point and launching installations, having guidance radars and containing antiprojectiles. An antiprojectile has the form of a short cylinder, the centre line of which coincides with the antiprojectile trajectory. An aimed axial action fragmentation warhead is arranged in the nose part of the antiprojectile, and an engine block and control systems are in its base part.
EFFECT: enhancing the efficiency of a launching silo's self-defense system.
