FIELD: physics, signalling.
SUBSTANCE: invention group relates to the provision of security at the monitored territory. Video surveillance is performed from a moving vehicle equipped with a video camera connected to a computer through a video input board. This vehicle, through a transceiver device, has radio channel communication with the transceiver device and the computer of the command post. At the latter, reference information about the monitored territory is generated and saved in the computer database, one or several datum points are selected, and their coordinates are entered. The video image of the selected objects is generated using the video camera, and their coordinates relative to the datum point are determined. During the vehicle motion, its coordinates, speed, and direction are determined, the currently saved video information about the speed and direction of the selected objects is compared to the previously saved video information. As the reference information, the set data characterising the monitored territory are used, and the coordinates of the selected objects and their speed are determined taking into account the vehicle direction and speed. In the process of video surveillance, objects with the maximum speed and undesirable direction are selected. The invention group allows to completely automate the process of provision of the monitored territory security and to enhance the security level.
