FIELD: physics, computing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of storage of and access to user data and configuration data in a mobile device connected to a user module. The technical effect is the enhancement of security and protection against unauthorised access to user data and software applications in the mobile device. For that purpose, user data are stored in the mobile device in at least partially encrypted form and are decrypted during access operations using the user module decrypting function. Besides that, configuration data are stored in the user module. The configuration data determine if the mobile device is allowed to execute a certain software application and the scope of such application execution.
EFFECT: enhancement of security and protection against unauthorised access to data in mobile device.
