FIELD: operation of roads.
SUBSTANCE: device for tightening of snow dumps of roadway consists of tightening mechanism (1), installed in the frame (2) like scraper chassis by means of four hydraulic cylinders (3), hinge joint (4) and four pneumatic wheels (5). Tightening mechanism (1) consists of two crank-connecting rod mechanisms with sealing plates (6), which are covered with polyethylene straps on working surfaces (7) through rubber layers. Main journal (8) of crankshaft are fixed in the frame (2) of tightening mechanism (1), through rod journals (9) connecting rods are installed with sealing plates (6). Sealing plates (6) are fixed in connecting rods by means of steel molds (11) with the help of four bolts on every connecting rod. Drive mechanism consists of hydraulic motor and chain-drive. Scheme and sequence of sealing plates (6) operation are determined by scheme of rod journals (9) location in relation to the main ones (8). Device is equipped with heating and moisturising device with two rows of thermal knives (15), tank for liquid fuel (16) and boiler (17).
EFFECT: efficiency of snow mass tightening process is achieved.
