FIELD: construction, road engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device is related to machines for compaction of snow mass in flow construction of ice and snow roads in northern regions. Working element is made in the form of two sections. Sections are joined in a hinged manner. Hinged joint makes it possible to lift the second section relative to compacted surface. Two hydraulic cylinders providing for lifting of the second section are installed on the first section.
EFFECT: improved quality of ice and snow cover compaction, reduced time for achievement of required density of snow.
