FIELD: compressor building; gas turbine building; engine building; electrical machinery building.
SUBSTANCE: invention allows to use an aerodynamic labyrinth-screw seal that can create a counter flow to gases leaking through gaps in running shafts. Unlike mechanical, oil, dry gas and other seals, the proposed method of aerodynamic sealing makes the only technique to completely rule out leaning through in compressors, gas turbine plants, aircraft gas turbine engines. This invention has managed to define a proper arrangement of aerodynamic labyrinth-screw seals and the conditions wherein the oil running through the front bearing assembly and oil ingress onto the blades and into the compressor setting are ruled out as well as gas leaking around inside the compressor.
EFFECT: increase in efficiency and capacity.
