FIELD: physics control.

SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to machine building and can be used in automation technology and control of production and other processes. According to the invention, the modified field device for automation of processes consists of an instrument transducer MA, connected to the sensor unit SE, which is connected to the signal processor DSP of the VM module for processing signals, connected to the system processor MP and the processor module PM, connected to the communication module KM for connection to the field instrument with a higher control and processing unit, consisting of a communication unit CE and/or an analogue unit AE. The distinctive feature of the invention is that, the field instrument for automation of processes is equipped with a reprogrammable (reconfigurable) logic module LB, which consists of at least, a signal processor DSP and a system processor MP. The logic module LB is connected to a read-only memory SP and a loading controller LC. Due to this, there is possibility of arbitrary configuration of the hardware and software.

EFFECT: making of a device for automation and control of production processes with possibility of arbitrary configuration of hardware and software.
