FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method of determining parameters of a linear current limiting reactor/resistor for construction of its model involves measurement of instant values of current and voltage. Arrays for instantaneous reading of current and voltage values , , are obtained in the same points of time tj=t1 t2, ..., tN, with a sampling interval of , where T is the period of the current/voltage signal; N is the number of counts on the period T. Later there is simultaneous storage of the digital counts of voltage as the current counts and their difference is determined. Later the digital counts of the difference in voltage and current are stored as the current and previous counts. The difference of the current and previous values of the voltage differences is determined. The current and previous values of current are added, the difference of the values of voltage differences are multiplied by the sum of the current, and these products are summed. The reactive power loss at the reactive resistance of the linear current limiting reactor/resistor is determined. The current signal counts are multiplied and the active power loss at the active resistance of the linear current limiting reactor/resistor, and the operating value of current, used for determining the active and reactive resistances.
EFFECT: simplification and increased accuracy and information capacity.
