FIELD: measuring instruments.
SUBSTANCE: arrays of instantaneous current and voltage readings are obtained at the same instants of time tj=ti, t2,..., tN with a sampling interval according to where T - current/voltage signal period, N - number of readings during the period T, and then they are saved as actual ones and a delta voltage ΔU12(tj) is determined. The numerical readings of delta voltage are saved as actual ones, a derivation of current i'1(tj+1) and i'1(tj) is executed and an inactive resistance voltage UR(tj) is determined from the formula: whereat a rated current i1P(tj) is determined, simultaneously with determining an active resistance voltage UR(tj), from the formula: then an active resistance value Ri of the linear current-limiting reactor/resistor is determined as a relation of the active resistance voltage UR(tj) to the rated current i1P(tj). An inductance value Li of the linear current-limiting reactor/resistor is determined from the formula: then period average values of active resistance and inductance are calculated and taken as the final results.
EFFECT: simplification and improvement of the accuracy and information value.
