FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and allows reducing the output voltage nonlinear distortion factor and increasing the power factor pf known thyristor frequency direct-coupling converters. To this effect, the known device including three three-phase-single-phase thyristor direct-coupling frequency converters featuring a direct coupling of a zero or a bridge circuit, each of which incorporates the anode and cathode groups of thyristors and the thyristor control system incorporating the voltage amplitude generator, the output frequency generator, three-phase generator of low-frequency sinusoidal voltage generator and a switcher-distributor with two inputs and six outputs. Note that the first inputs of the switcher-distributor are connected to appropriate outputs of the three-phase generator of low-frequency sinusoidal voltage to the input of which is connected to the output frequency generator. Here, the second inputs of the switchers-distributors are connected to the output of the voltage amplitude generator and their outputs are divided into two groups and connected to the control electrodes of the thyristors of the abode and cathode groups. Also, connected are multiphase, for example, three-phase controlled transformers with rotary field containing a circular stator and closing yoke made from silicon-sheet steel with the grooves, and the primary and secondary three-phase power windings laid into the said stators steel packs slots and control windings laid in the same stator slots or into the closing yoke slots. Note, also that all three-phase power winding of the transformers have 60-degree phase zones with shortened spacing with the primary windings of every identical sense phase of all the transformers with the rotary field are connected in series and, together with the primaries of the other phases, they make a star connection and are connected to the supply circuit. Here, note that the secondaries of each the above transformers are star connected and jointed to the power inputs of every three-phase-single-phase converters, while control windings of every transformer with rotary field are connected to appropriate outputs of the three-phase low-frequency generator of sinusoidal voltage.

EFFECT: lower nonlinear output voltage distortion factors and higher power facto of the said thyristors.
