FIELD: converter equipment.

SUBSTANCE: stabilizer is intended for connection on low side of main transformer of substation and comprises in-series connected input frequency converter with DC voltage link, high-frequency step-down transformer and an output frequency converter in form of a voltage cyclo-converter. Input frequency converter increases frequency of the network multiple of the network frequency and is based on a transistor rectifier and a double-bridge voltage inverter. Output frequency converter, which is a voltage cyclo-converter at single-ended thyristors, converts the voltage lowered by the high-frequency transformer to the mains frequency. This output voltage of the stabilizer enters the secondary winding of the main transformer of the substation. Depending on the operating mode, the device generates stabilizer output voltage regulation by a two-bridge voltage inverter and a voltage cyclo-converter. Stabilization of voltage on load is performed by double-bridge voltage inverter as per voltage deviation of circuit and voltage cyclo-converter as to deviation of load voltage.
