FIELD: medicine; veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: method implies that calves' blood is sampled to release serum. Blood serum is analysed for average mass molecules, and intoxication index is determined. In consideration of intoxication index calves are fed on 0.01% Biopague D solution two times every 12 hours in dosage 150-250 ml.
EFFECT: well-timed and effective intoxication correction in order to prevention of throbocytopathia; normalisation of blood rheology and optimisation of newborn calves general condition.
