FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied for balancing of sympathetic and parasympathetic parts of vegetative nervous system upset caused by ischemic heart disease (IHD). Stimulator consists of power supply, positive and negative pulse generator, current meter, clock oscillator of frequency 3 Hz, summator, and adjustable current supply within the range 0.05-2 mA. Negative rectangular pulse generator of pulse duration 0.2 ms is connected to output of positive rectangular pulse generator of pulse duration 0.2 ms starting on falling edge by clock oscillator. Stimulator is applied for treatment of 26 IHD patients.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of vagus end bud stimulation and application of smaller amplitude of stimulating pulses.
