SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and medical equipment. Method includes installing on neck two multi-element electrodes, partial electrodes which function as anodes and cathodes. Supply of current pulses on partial electrodes of first multi-element electrode and partial electrodes of second multi-element electrode is performed so that frequency of switching between partial electrodes of first multi-element electrode is less than frequency of switching between partial electrodes of second multi-element electrode. Method is carried out using a device, in which first multiple-element electrode through first switch, and second multiple-element electrode through second switch connected to processor, connected to current pulse parameters setting unit. Processor is configured to generate frequency switching between partial electrodes of first multi-element electrode is less than frequency of switching between partial electrodes of second multi-element electrode.

EFFECT: invention improves efficiency of electrical stimulation, which is achieved through involvement in a large number of electrical nerve structures located in neck.
