SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the device to separate water-oil emulsions and other liquid mixes with various density and solid impurities and may be used in any industrial branch, in particular, for separation of petroleum products and solid inclusions from water. The device contains a setting zone made in the form of a helix with bens at the end parts incorporating the inlet branch pipe and the top outlet branch pipe. The inlet is shared by the top and bottom drain branch pipes and incorporates a horizontal separation flange. The inlet section area equals that of the settling zone. The inlet and the top drain branch pipes are arranged on the opposite sides of the settling zone.

EFFECT: higher quality of separation, reduced time of separation and simpler separation process.
