FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to clearing liquid mixtures with various densities and containing solid impurities, and may be used in petroleum refining, petroleum chemical industries any other industrial branch. The device incorporates a helical flow separator with two outlet channels. The vessel is made up of two separate reservoirs with partitions. One of these reservoirs communicates with the helical separator lower outlet channel and incorporates a mixture flow velocity reduction device made up of several rows of plates, while the other reservoir is connected to the upper outlet channel arranged above the partitions.
EFFECT: increase in quality of clearing water of solid insoluble inclusions and sand and process simplification.
