FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to methods of producing iron base powders and can be implemented in production of powdered structural parts operated under wear, including higher temperatures. The method includes obtaining of nickel based melt with nickel contents not more than 4 mas.%, then its dispersion with compressed air, recovery annealing of received raw powder, crushing, incorporating of additives into received powder by means of mechanical mixing; at that additives contain copper and molybdenum in form of copper and molybdenum oxides or ammonium polymolybdate with a total contents of alloy elements, introduced as compounds, not exceeding 25 mas.%, then the method includes diffusion-reducing baking in hydrogen containing medium at 800-850° and following reduction. Then a powdered alloy is added to the received alloy powder by means of mechanical mixing; at that the powdered alloy presents an iron silicon alloy with dimension of particles not more than 45 micrometers and with silicon contents either 18-21 mas.% or 51-56 mas.%. According to the second variant of the method simultaneously with cobalt and molybdenum copper in form of its oxides is incorporated into powder.
EFFECT: producing of wear and heat resistant items of with high operational characteristics.
