SUBSTANCE: application describes fastening device (1) intended for securing of cover (7) installed on upper edge (6) of gutter shell (2) installed in the ground, the shell of a street or yard gulley sewage manhole, installed in the ground, or similar shells installed in the ground, of similar devices for surface water discharge; and contains first fasteners (10a) on the cover and second fasteners (20a) on shell (2) installed in the ground; and in which the first and second fasteners are designed so as to provide for snap-in connection between each other for securing cover (7) on shell (2) installed in the ground. The fastening device of this type is enhanced in that it provides reliable and simple cover securing not requiring much effort, with simultaneous optimisation of its support by the shell. For that purpose, first fasteners (10a) and/or the second fasteners have at least one shock-absorbing area (26, 26') with supporting surface (21, 21') forming a contact face between the shell installed in the ground and the cover, which, thanks to that, is retained in the secured position with an offset from upper edge (6) of the shell installed in the ground.

EFFECT: development of gutter or sewage manhole fastening device with simple and reliable securing of covers.
