FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of artillery weapons and may be used in the development of rounds for medium and large calibre guns. The inventive charge comprises a main module and an auxiliary module that contains powder in a combustible tight casing. Said auxiliary module comprises a fitting assembly having the form of a hollow cylindrical tube made of a decomposable polymer material and positioned at the centre of the propelling charge. The diameter of this cylindrical tube is from 0.2 to 0.3 of the auxiliary module diameter and the ratio between its outer and inner diameters is from 1.3 to 1.7.
EFFECT: increase in the rate of fire and simplification of the loading mechanism design.
