SUBSTANCE: method includes carrying out of space shooting, processing of the received data, gathering of thematic cartographic document and carrying out of selective land researches. In addition the space radar-tracking shooting in ranges of wave lengths 5.6 and 3.1 cm is carried out. On the basis of the received data, thematic cartographic document and the given land researches a soil covering is corrected.
EFFECT: method allows diagnosing of a soil covering in the conditions of an open surface and the grown vegetational cover.
