FIELD: items for personal and household use.
SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner contains dust collecting device, in which while the suction electromotor of the vacuum cleaner is working accumulates dirt particles. The dirt particles are compacted in the dirt collecting device with the help of a mobile clamping element. The mobile clamping element is capable of rotating in one, and in the other direction. An additional mobile clamping element, which packs together dirt particles, is brought into action with the help of the driving motor. In the next variant of the mode of operation of the vacuum cleaner when the suction electromotor stops, the first clamping element stops only after shifting to the second clamping element.
EFFECT: increase in the dust collecting volume of dirt particles.
