FIELD: medicine; veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: method includes vaccination of young animals with BCG vaccine. It is accompanied with preliminary chemoprophylaxis of calves' tuberculosis with aldoson. Aldoson is orally introduced to calves of 10-20 days and older in dosage 40-50 mg/kg every second day within 2 months.
EFFECT: improved efficiency and reduced laboriousness of animal tuberculosis prevention.
