FIELD: veterinary medicine and science. SUBSTANCE: method of prophylaxis of tuberculosis is carried out by the following manner. Method involves intramuscular administration of tuberculin (tuberculoprotein) at the dose 3-4 ml for mammals at concentration used for allergic tuberculosis diagnosis in body region of calves of colostrum age (from 1 to 10 days). In 30-40 min the preparation at the dose 4-5 ml containing formaldehyde, sodium chloride and distilled water is administrated by intramuscular route in body region of calves. Both preparations are administrated as a single dose. Invention can be used for prophylaxis of tuberculosis in animals and provides the effective prophylaxis of tuberculosis in cattle for short time at high level of expressing immunity.
