FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method of granules preparation is implemented by means of dispersion of solution, melt or suspension to screen of loose material in the medium of moving air in rotating drum with internal blades. Air is supplied as counterflow to direction of granules movement along drum axis, and dispersed phase is introduced as torch, the cross section area of which makes 20-50% from area of drum cross section. The largest linear size of torch cross section is approximately equal to diameter of circumference, which is formed in drum cross section with free ends of blades. Cross section of torch may be shaped as oval, the larger axis of which is equal to diameter of circumference, which is formed with free ends of blades. Drum granulator is equipped with nozzle, the outlet opening of which is shaped to provide formation of torch with required cross section. Air supply nozzle is installed in discharge chamber, and air exhaust nozzle is installed in loading chamber.
EFFECT: reduction of finished product humidity and intensification of granulation process.
